I came across this quote on someone else's blog awhile back. I love how it just sums up being grateful and generous. It's one that i'd never heard before but it's a keeper!

My prayer is that each of our kids develops a personal relationship with their Heavenly Father and will feel their divine worth as a child of God.

Sister Hinckley quotes always hit home to me. I'm not fifty yet, but i've loved the age of thirty so i relate to this quote and look forward to fifty in another decade and a half:) She is so down to earth and feels like an old friend even though i only had the chance to meet her once.

Isn't this quote so true?! I heard it a long time ago, and have found it to be so true. When i'm making good choices i remember the past with gratitude and sweet remembrances and look forward to good things to come. But the opposite is true, too. If i'm making poor choices and let discouragement creep in, i start regretting things from the past and fear the future. It's amazing to me how much power there is in the present. 

It's kind of embarrassing how much i related to this quote when i read it. After we had our first two children i made sure to clean the house every night(at least make sure the living room and kitchen were clean) but after baby number three, it's a different story!

I've always wanted to learn more about Florence Nightingale and so i googled quotes by her and this is the first that came up. I'm a timid, introspective person so i'm inspired by her attitude of ACTIONS and not just thinking, writing, or talking about it but DOING it! 

This quote is short, sweet and to the point! I've heard it at different stages of my life. It's given me the courage to be true to who i am.  Right now it strikes a chord to me as a mother. That i need to give my soul to being a mom to my children.
